This week's class project for my patternmaking class is a jumpsuit. I didn't reckon I would ever wear a jumpsuit (seeing as you have to disrobe completely to pee in public — no thanks), so I made mine from some printed IKEA cotton a friend gave me. Now that it's almost done, I'm kinda regretting not buying something cool. What do you think? Should I make another one, for reals this time?
I'd love it if you could do a post on the book you use for your pattern making class. I saw the post you did on measurements, and I'm wondering what book/pattern making system uses those measurements.
ReplyDeleteLove the jumpsuit! Go for it, Sue! You can totally rock that.
ReplyDeleteoh man...now i'm thinking i need a jumpsuit..dang.
ReplyDeleteIf I could figure out some easy way to share patterns, I would. But it's not all that hard to do yourself if you have a bodice pattern that fits you and a high-waisted pants pattern that fits you. Put them together, cut a waistband in the middle....OK, it's slightly more complicated than that. But not much!
