My kid may not wear the costume I made her for Halloween this year, but maybe my friend's will. At least this one is too small to be able to undress herself, so she will have no choice in the matter. With two kids, ages 3 and 6 months, Danielle wanted something that worked together, but would please them both. So what better than Milk and Cookies? (You can guess which is the favourite of whom).
Here's the inspiration for milk (I don't know where this came from, but it's cute, right?)

It has a pattern for a simple sleepsack, which seemed like the perfect basis for a costume for a six-month-old. I made it in white fleece.
It's awaiting adornment, and some sort of nipple-like hat. But you get the idea so far. Anyway, I think this pattern would be a great start for any number of baby Halloween costumes. In white, she could be a ghost, Princess Leia, a marshmallow....plus afterward you could rip off any junk you sewed on and use it as a sleepsack for the next six months! Score.
