A few minutes painting, followed by three excruciating days of making your child wait to paint on the fully dried chalkboard surface is totally worth it. Because what you get is 30 seconds of happy distraction followed by 16 minutes of your kid screaming that she can't draw a proper "U" and then 10 minutes of cleaning up chalk dust.
you just listed all the concerns i have for a chalkboard indoors, no matter how pretty they look on Pinterest. The main one is hearing the little perfectionist scream when things don't look like he imagined. Thank you for the laugh
